companyELE Beratende Ingenieure GmbH (ELE Consulting Engineers Ltd.) was founded as Erdbaulaboratorium Essen more than 60 years ago. Since its foundation our company has been successful in all fields of geotechnics of civil engineering, and has ever since crucially influenced the development of this area of expertise also by its proximity to research and teaching. The company is headed by the shareholders Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dietmar Placzek and Dipl.-Ing. Thomas Nendza.
We define ourselves as a service provider which conducts subsoil investigations, evaluates those with regard to the construction project, and develops optimal civil engineering solutions for you. We plan, contract out, monitor all underground works, and make our expert advice available to you, which is based on experience gained form handling more than 60.000 projects, both inside and outside of Germany. Additionally we are officially recognized as inspection authority.
